Found as a homeless kitten with a fragile beginning, he carries something far beyond it — a quiet strength and a magnetic, almost king-like presence that draws you in without explanation.
He possesses an effortless charisma — the kind you might expect from a character in a film — with features so striking they can feel almost otherworldly. At times, there is something remarkably unusual about him, as though traces of different animal spirits quietly surface depending on his mood. One moment playful and mischievous, the next composed, watchful and unmistakably regal.
Gentle and affectionate, just as his name suggests, Sweetie finds joy in life’s simple rituals — chaperoned walks, playtime, watching the birds gather, and standing proudly upon his favourite “pride rock” as though quietly surveying a kingdom all his own.

About the Author
I didn’t come into investing the usual way. There was no introduction, no network, no one explaining how any of it worked. I started from absolute zero — and taught myself how money, markets and investing actually operate from the ground up. Over the past eight years, I’ve independently explored financial markets, from precious metals to modern cryptocurrencies. What I found was not just knowledge — but a divide between how finance is explained, and how it actually feels for someone starting with little knowledge or none at all. Most financial advice assumes you already belong in the room. That you have money, confidence, guidance or family support. For many people, none of that exists. That’s where my work begins. I write for people who find finance dry, boring, overwhelming or completely disconnected from their world. My goal is to turn something intimidating into something understandable. Through storytelling, Sweetie’s Ransom brings these ideas to life — creating a bridge between imagination and financial understanding. There was a time when education, hard work and saving your dollars were enough to create financial stability. That time has shifted — dramatically. I repeat, dramatically!
Understanding the basics of money — how to earn it, keep it and grow it — is no longer a luxury. It is a necessity in a world where the cost of not understanding it is rising so fast, many can barely keep pace. Money used to be something you could ignore. Now, not understanding it comes at a price. Before bringing my finance and investing knowledge into fiction, I created and hosted a community television show exploring dating, relationships and the dynamics of human behaviour. That experience shaped something I still believe today — people thrive through love, connection and a sense of belonging. Because a good life is rarely built on one thing alone. Love, belonging and stability will always rank no.1. But money matters too — not above these things, but alongside them.
I’m presently creating books that teach investing through fictional adventure narratives — for people who were never shown how money works, and equally for those who have money but still feel uncertain, overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. Because confusion around finance does not discriminate. For many people, the hardest part isn’t investing. It’s getting in at all.
